Hi there,
I have 2 cables from the dizzy to connect the coil. These have a plug. Does anybody know the counterpart? part # etc.
Of course I just can cut it and connect it directly, but....
Thanks in advance.
Cheers

Re: 2 cable plug
Just for your interest.
That doesn't look like the standard plug which, from my experience is a male/female bullet type connector (Lucas?). I don't think the standard connector is available any longer and this may have been changed to this type by a previous owner particularly if an aftermarket ignition amplifier was fitted (I did similar on mine). Changing the plug/socked and the ignition amplifier was probably a good thing, although obviously a shame to lose the Lucas quality!
I agree with Stevie T, that looks like econoseal.

I'd agree, Econoseal would be a bit modern for OEM Rover stuff I'd think.GDCobra wrote: Wed Oct 14, 2026 11:19 am Just for your interest.

Not that it matters, it's a cheap readily available connector.
