Well that was around what I was quoted about a month ago, remember that it won't work out cheeper, isostatic ratio is about 6.5 - 6.7:1 as opposed to 14.7:1 and it has about 3/5 the calorific value of petrol, so for the same power it will cost 85-90% of what petrol does, then you have to purge it out the system when you stop, oh yes and if you want to be leagle there will be duty on top of that which will really blow the budget.Ian Anderson wrote:Mikekiwicar wrote:Hi

What you really want is a nice 383 SBC in it, with decent ally heads, stick a 3 speed+ overdrive auto behind it and an adaptor to mate it to a RR transfer case. cheep 420 bhp, 510 on methanol and no messing arround with NOS needed, just don't think Mr plod will like you running methanol on the road![]()
