water temp sender

Hi,I need to connect my ford capri water temperature gauge to a chevy v8 sender unit,will this give accurate readings or do I need to buy an aftermarket temp gauge,cheers Dave

the easy way to do this would be fit the Capri sender into the Chevy, Then you will know the sender is working correctly rather than hoping it is!!

why not do what we do with the RV8,
drill out the Chevy center and tap it out to fit the ford sender, chevy to ford conversion then sorted

Do you mean drill out the centre of the sender unit,or drill out a suitable blanking plug then tap that out?

yup drill out the sender center, if its big enought to take the ford sender,
