I have to agree - when my car was set up on the rolling road the vac advance ended up being disconnected.

I had the car back on Sauturday just to re-check as I'd fitted new fuel pump, regulator and filter and it topped out at 204bhp but we were having a little bit of clutch slip so it is probably slightly more - in any case the torque is available immediately so the car pulls away quite well

It is running tubular manifolds but, at the moment, it's 4 into 1 each side with no balance pipe. I do have an X pipe to go in at some point, when I get time, and this should give a little more torque :) I'm hoping to have it done before a rolling road session I'm going to in April but we ...

Not a specialist in LT77's but definitely a gearbox specialist who really knows his stuff and rebuilt mine. He regularly rebuilds boxes for a lot of the guys I know that race as well. Good job and reasonable rates.

It's a kit which from Edelbrock which contains the jets, metering rods, springs etc. for the specific model of carb so the tuner can try the various combinations. Rich, who did mine down at Motoscope went through about 3 combinations before he was happy.

I had to supply the calibration kit for the carb as it's not a model the rolling road I went to deal with often - they're more used to twin 40s / 45s

That's as far as we took it - we'll see where it stops when I go back for just a full power run

I do rate these filters and have been running one on mine for the past couple of years - but I have plenty of space

Just had mine rebuilt (road / track) and the advice was similar, get it up to temp and check for leaks etc then just drive it for 100 miles or so up and down the box with various loads (some hilly lanes are the best) and don't stay at the same speed too long. Oh and keep away from full throttle
