V8 Webring....... why do I get directed there now and again?

like the title says.... anyone know why as it's starting to P me off!!! I want to go to a site for a reason, doesn't mean I want to be diverted somewhere else when I have put in the correct URL!!

I pump in v8forum.co.uk and it redirects me to the v8 webring! just a pain in the arse!!

Hm, no idea, sorry mate. Could be worth clearing the browser cache

In IE, tools > internet options > browsing history, delete
Just the files, not the cookies (rememberd logins)

ctrl-shift-del gets you there in Firefox

happens to me a few times too
going to end up removing the web ring banner from the site as i think we are managing fine without it

think theres a glitch sometimes with the banner loading from webring and it takes you straight there, same happens on the capri site too

have removed the banners now from the website so fingers crossed its ok now

Happens to me sometimes on a different site with a webring, so I suspect something is wrong with the webring...
