RV8 for a 4.0 1996 P38?

Post by Kit »

Our P38s RV8 has given up the ghost, looks like a cracked block unfortunately at 150k miles so we can't complain!

Which RV8 will slot straight in since we've been told that earlier 3.5, 3.9 won't fit all the ancilleries due to engine casting differences/sepentine belt?

If I wanted to buy a reconditioned or used long engine, where would be the best places to call except RPi Engineering?

These people have a good reputation, the engines they list are top hat linered which solves the liner slippage due to cracking behind the liners.

Either half or full stripped engines are available. 4.0 or 4.6 which are basically the same engine but the 4.6 is longer stroke.
