Whats this port for?

Excuse my numptiness

On the Offenhauser manifold there is a port about 3/4 diameter just above the heater port. What's it for?

If it's the one at the back of the manifold it's a vacuum take off for your brake servo.

For my kit car then, it needs blanking off. Any idea of the thread size?

I think it's an oddball (non standard)! The O.D. is 0.617" & 18 TPI so possibly American National Pipe Parallel derivative. Trouble is I can't find any more info on it. Looks like you may have to get one made.

Doh!! just realised it's 5/8 UNF. Also this is in a JWR Offenhauser manifold so may not be the same.
