What thread for coolant temp sensor?

I have a standard RV8 manifold for SU carbs. The coolant temp sensor appears to be 5/8" across the threads, but is it NPT, UNC or UNF?

I think you will find that the thread is UNC although if I am wrong someone else will put you and me right.
