piston grading

Hi, I have an M stamped into my pistons and according to the haynes book of lies rover used A B C and D to grade their pistons, does M denote an aftermarket/remanufactured piston? Not critical but would be nice to know


If it dont fit, force it. If it breaks, you needed a new one anyway!

Hi,
I've also seen ......H, M (or W), & Z on Rover pistons.
