LT77 either vitesse or police spec.

Looking for a vitesse gearbox but like hens teeth, what are the other compromise can I do, will a SD1 2.6 5 speed be ok. with a 3.5 bellhousing? I'm putting in a rover 3.5 180bhp in a Triumph stag so want descent acceleration and a descent cruise speed. Any suggestions of who might have a box?
