Well you obviously have a long way to go before you qualify as a true "Bodgineer"

I love that program! I know its nothing like the standards of Overhaulin or anything like that, but i do admire what they do to some extent. The first series was wicked out in bangladesh.

And as far as I could tell so far they haven't botched it up eliot. True, they removed most of the tunnel, but the engine and gearbox mounts were properly fabricated, and the engine bay looks amazing after all the holes were welded up, smoothed, filled and sprayed. And they did it all in two weeks.

Wish I had that work rate!

yes - looks like they are taking a bit more care over this one. The older series they were all butchered with massive wheel spacers and cut down springs - franky they look like death traps. Maybe the thought of some-one "famous" getting injured or killed has focussed their minds a bit.
I started watching the martin kemp one the other week, but when it fell to bits at santapod i stopped watching it.

Haha yeah, that was due to chopped springs!!!

The capri has custom Gaz coilovers this time, so should be much better lol. Also noticed they'd got proper wheels on it and absolutely no spacers - the wheels looked like widened steelies.

Oh yeah, the 'Sumo' BMW went on ebay the other week . . . for £5k!!!!

Eliot!!

You should have watched the last few mins mate. You would have seen me looking at the Saab and heard my comments. Also My voice over at the end of the scene. Then you would have seen my MGB cruising back to the pits as Martin Kemp was being interviewed.
I had a good chat with Martin and his Son. He was impressed with the old Skool look of the MGB as I explained to him just how quick it was. And that it shamed the yellow Lambo he liked on the 1/4 mile. Bugger me if in the second episode he wanted his car Black and with the engine sticking out of the bonnet??
The Bug Catcher gets another fan eh?

I had approx 6 seconds of air time. That was the result of touting me and the MGB around the cast and crew for 7 hours. I even took Bernie and Leepu for test runs in the MGB. I also told them I could help if they ever decided to make any of their cars go quick with Nitrous or wanted any help in building a Rover V8 for max output.

But at least I got my car on the telly eh??

Media Whore??
Hell yes!!

Job done

Now I just need to find out how I can get into another episode...

Chod!!

I really liked those stretched steelies on the Capri.

I wonder just how many of these cars will end up on Ebay?

Haha Perry you legend, I'll have to sky-plus that episode when its on again and keep my eye out for ya!

Yeah those steelies looked great, proper mad max style. I was having a fag in the garage last night and got my wheels out of the box for the first time in 18mths, and it rekindled my love for the MG! Now to crack on, once i get paid . . . !

Ha!
I thought I saw your MGB in the background on the first episode when it fell apart. Will sky+ it next time.
Ping us if you see it come up again..(which it most certainly will)

I'm hoping my car gets a few more shots in the "directors cut" episode that they normally do. I did a shed load of drive by's in the pits while they were filming.

So I'm hoping to get into some more background shots instead of ending up on the cutting room floor :)
