Is it possible to retrieve deleted text messages?

Someone says I can phone my network to get them back, but I aint so sure.

I wouldn't think so. All they would be able to tell you is when you received them. If they were to store them I would imagine it would be against the law same as recording your phone calls. You could always try MI5 or the CIA though as they might have a copy :wink:

Yeah, I'll get right on that :lol:

bugger. good point about the privacy thing. just someone told me you could. having a few troubles with nuisance text messages but i foolishly deleted them. reported the person responsible, so i'll have to bluff my way through it.

I think your telecoms provider needs to store data about your calls and texts for 6 years under the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act. They should have copies of your text messages. Good luck!

I would be surprised if they had the actual content. Times and who from and too yes but the content has to be against privacy laws without a warrant.

Your network provider does store TXT content for a limited time so you need to get onto them quickly if you want them. you will probably have to confirm that you want them for potential legal proceedings and there may be a fee.
