HT lead lengths?

Post by The Original Tom »

Can anyone tell me the HT lead lengths for a standard distributor set-up on a rover V8?

I can't.

In my experience replacement lead kits never seem to fit tidily. I've tried various rotations on the distributor cap, but never been fully satisfied.

Ok, What I'll do is cut some lengths of string and compose a list of accurate, tidy lead lengths, and re-post when I've had a chance.
Thanks any way.

Hi
I bought some Moroso "Blue Max" leads from Real Steel. The plug end is on (you can specify what angle) and the other one is bare with the boots separate so you can cut to length. I am building an SD1 up for a Cobra and wanted the extra length leads. Have a look at my website under the "Engine" page.

Cheers

Martin
