HI,
Fitted a 3.9 interim discovery engine to my factory MGBV8. It came with the above dizzy but not the remote amp. The dizzy has a 2 black wires (no help) and a black, two pin, female plug bracketed to the side. I've got an Intermotor 15210 amp. The question is how to connect up. Indeed does it matter? I rather assume it does.[/img]

It's a VR sensor, so connecting it the wrong way won't harm it.

Variable reluctance. Just basically a coil wound round a lump of iron with a magnet at one end.
