Winzip Q.

Post by ihatesissycars »

How do i unzip a winzip file and keep it that way?

The reason why i ask is i've been sent a zipped file which i need to transfer to my laptop to load into my ecu however my laptop doesn't have winzip (i've tried downloading a trial version onto my laptop to see me past this but hte laptop had a spaz-attack so no go).

Sorry if the answer to this is really obvious but it does help explain just how useless i am with computers!

Cheers in advance!

Download 7-Zip from www.7-zip.org/ or Sourceforge and it will handle most compressed files and it's FREE!!! :D :D :D

Unzip it, email it to yourself, download the email on yr laptop
Or burn to CD
Or use one of those lil' USB memory sticks
