Rover V8 Oil Pressure

Hi folks. I have an MGB with a Rover V8 out of a P6. Can anyone advise what sort of oil pressure should I be seeing when the engine is hot?

30-40 psi @ 2400rpm hot

However don't be surprised by 20-25PSI when hot at 3000rpm and light flickering at 5psi at idle - it will go on that way for years.

8-10 psi at hot idle @ 900 rpm is quite common on a worn engine. This can often be imroved by doing some work on the rocker gear.
