Rich, might have had some joy with re-coating them after a phone call yesterday, when your up and about give us a bell and I'll try and recall what I was told!

Had another search and came up with a LSD called Tranex and wondered if this is what you have.

Company in Leicester sell them.

Still thinking, as your diff came out of a TR7/8 conversion you should give these guys a ring, they are the main suppliers of TR7/8 conversion parts.

Why dont you bolt it back together, hold the diff in a vice, lock one drive flange off and test with a torque wrench how much it takes to move the other side? You should get a good idea of whether it is shot or not then!

at the moment a company called Jigsaw are seeing if a supplier they use has got some plates, as he has them made for customers but has to have plates made 50 a time. If they cant find them will get some made?? :? rich

I would give those two companies I recommended above a ring, S&S maybe the original supplier or would know if it's still in production.

Gave the tr7 place a call ,and they have never heard of lemax either, so not a standard tr7 diff then. thanks for the links Kevin. So im still no closer to finding them, looks like i might have to have them made :( rich

Happy happy happy days, i have some plates for the lsd diff. the plates are 1/2 mm thinner but im having more fitted ,so will be better than it was. :D :D
