Rich,

Sounds similar to the Jagpowerlock diff that has clutches or clutch type plates.

Did an extensive search for the names you provided and came up with silch
apart from a few links to sites of people of uncertain gender

Is this diff specifically for the SD1 axle?

Kevin.

same size diff housing, but more in closed than the sd1 type. On one side its got 4 plates, 2 look like spacers and the other 2 have 4 i suppose lugs on them that fit in a casing> im no good with the names of things or describing them as it goes,or have you already guessed that :( rich

Something like this?

I have no pictures of the breakdown of the plate clutches. I think from memory there are 3 plates each side with 4 tabs that locate in the case, and two splined plates that locate on the two larger spider gears that the output shafts locate.

Alan!
We only do RWYB Drag Racing at a DIY level. So scrutineers aren't bothered.

And for me with MGB diffs being given away, I have a good supply of cogs and shafts :)
