V8 Into Capri

Post by Ms Anna »

Im fitting a Rover V8 3.9 into a Mk3 Capri . What sump should I be using ? does the SD1 sump fit without being modified ?

Any advice on any part of this conversion would be gratefully appreciated

Cheers
Anna

I used an sd1 sump with mine but it would depend on how far fore or aft you've mounted your engine as to wether it needs modifying or not. Mine didn't. I used standard sd1 mounts with mine which fitted perfectly.
