Hi Sidecar,
Thanks for that and as you rightly point out it seems a little .... er ... bias.
These were the ones I had seen and the cheapest I could find them in the U.K. were £85.
I couldn`t say one way or the other whether they are decent - good - or the best you can buy, however at £85 I wasn`t prepared to buy them.
I have a humble RV8 3.9 - Weber 500 on a performer, with the performance that setup is going to produce I don`t consider those leads a "Must have" - well not at that price!!!!!!
The setup is no big deal but i`m happy enough with it as its more economical than when it was a Ford 2.8 V6.
Regards, Mike

Hi Steven & Ged,
Thank you both - I have a set of leads now from Paul at V8tuner, anything I have bought from Paul has never been a problem and he has always posted the item(s) very quickly.
Ged, Did you have your leads from the USA or was that just the example?
I am informed that the spiral leads are good though I have never used them.
I just wanted a set of leads that would deliver something like 20,000 volts to a spark plug
and only to the plug. If a set of leads will do the job for £30 i`m a happy bunny. However other brands may cost a lot more and be of a better quality at the end of the day they are still only doing the same job. Then again you get what you pay for.
As is my norm when I change a set of HT leads I always keep two of the old longest leads just in case after I have checked them of course.
The only thing on this planet that will last forever is gold but I get your point Ged.
Regards ...mike
