How much are scrapyards paying these days for a car?
Rover 200 Diesel, still on the road, with MOT, but won't get the next one.
Thanks,
Chris.

I believe the gearbox is the same as the BMW Mini
And they are forever breaking 2nd gear sinchro and gears
could be worth finding out and pulling the box if it's the right one

I took an old Vauxhall Combo van in to a local a couple of weeks ago.
I stripped the rear doors/bumper, sold the front bumper/headlights/crash bar/bonnet and a friend took the engine and gearbox.
So the barish van, plus some other scrap metal I had in the back came to 0.93 ton.
They paid £155 per ton, so came away with £144.
Is it any wonder thieving gypsy bastards are stealing peoples cars and taking them to scrap metal dealers.
