i won some throttle bodies, dc&o info wanted!

Post by glen »

i have a 302 and was going to make my own inlet manifold for 8 gsxr tb's. buy another emerald ecu and that was cheap 8 trumpet injection!!
(there's certain things a gt40 must have....even a lo-cost one!! 8 trumpets being one of these!)
i found some dc&o throttle bodies on ebay, with injectors, inlet manifold, fuel rail, tec3 ecu, complete loom, linkages etc etc. so i bid the price i was going to spend on my cheap diy route............AND ONLY WON!!!!
all billet throttle bodies, nice and shiny :D
when i went to pick them up, the seller give me 2 coil packs, well 4, but on 2 mounting plates
did a search on the net, and in the states, they're using this set up on 2000bhp methanol cars
think i may have more than i need...........but look.....SHINY!!!

indeed, the heads were given to me so i could mock my engine/gearbox up, and make sure they clear my chassis!
funnily enough, they were garage door doorstops :o
what heads are they? how can you tell? what should i be looking for to get usable cheap heads?
god...i love learning....... 8)
