Hello,

I open this topic for an friend who is interested to install an aluminium chevy or other american engine in his landy.

Which engine can be easily installed with an ZF 4HP22 and where to buy the adaptator plate ?

Thank for your help :D .

this plate is designed to fit the ZF4 HP22 to the rangerover V8 , i'm sure it could be adapted to fit another engine to the ZF4

I thought the HP22 bolted straight up.
Are you thats not the adapter to fit the TF727 to a rover? (edit - it is: http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=801718)

To wotland, running a chevy on the HP22 may be pushing it a bit and you may be better of considering using a GM auto and adapting that to the LT230 transfer box:
