RV8 interim timing cover bits

Post by adamnreeves »

Hello.

Anyone give me pointers into where I can oil pressure sender and oil termperature senders for the above. Spoken to the usual places and they tell me that the standard oil pressure sender illuminates a bulb only. Termperature also non-standard. I am going to use one of the oil cooler take offs for the temperator sender. I am going to run an oil cooler from a sandwich plate.

Also being told to plug the dizzy hole in the cover as I am going dizyyless with a cut down dizzy. I was told by someone that you can get ready made blanking plates.

Cheers,
Adam.

The correct senders come with the gauges when you buy them. If the threads are wrong on the senders you can buy thread adapters although they quit often come with adapters. Its important to match sender to gauge otherwise the accuracy could be out.

Okay, makez sense. I probably get my guages from Westfield. I check with them when I purchase them.
