Hi,
If you send me a picture of the front of your engine which shows the water pump and also the crank pulley, I should be able to tell you which bracket you need.
As you're discovering there a lot of versions of these.

If I have the correct one in stock, we may be able to do a swap.

Regards
Jim

UPDATE........finally!

Dizzy - slight upgrade here - also gone electrinic today! having trouble getting hold of a driver module though as i broke mine trying to remove the retaining pin this afternoon. I will also be buying a balast resistor as i have the old standard rover type and i have no idea how it works!.

Image

fly/clutch - massive upgrade as i am sure you will work out why (NOS plans) Tvr and heavy duty clutch (just need bolts and to work out how to put one together (never done this before!)

Image

interior: a few switches and starting switches added!

Image

bay: all cleaned up and ready for trial fit of engine! notice how much i have cut away for the rad!!! ( i didn't need to go this drastic but i want it to be really easy to work on the front end!

5 link: not done by me - got it like this - just needs lowering now!

problem one: cross bolting has thrown angle of mounts out: Wil probably need to angle grind the mounts (boo hoo the took me f***** ages to track down!)

Image

problem two: what alternator mounting can i use? I dont want to change my front end just the alternator mount! I gouess i will have to have something made (bummer!)

The rear crossbolt that is behind the starter motor is a caphead type and shorter, yes?

Why not do the same behind the engine mount or face back the boss and shorten the bolt. Other option is to drill a clearance hole in the mount rather than cut away large chunks.

all the bolts are the same - i don't want to touch them now so i would have to change the mount. However i have measured it ant they are only out by 5mm - do you think that there would be too much pressure on them to leave them as they are?
