Propshaft + bolts - LT77/SD1 axel
Wanting to fit my propshaft now, MGB, LT77 gearbox, SD1 diff. Which way round does the proshaft go (as in, which end bolts to the gearbox side; the end with the movable bit in-and-out, or the other way?!)
Also, what bolts should I be using and to what torque? Haven't got any bolts ATM so will be buying some.
thanks

No problem with asking a question like that Ollie, especially when its such a critical set of bolts eh!
I wonder how many folk have just fitted what they had laying around and sheared them off?

well that's what I thought. I do have a bunch of metric nuts/bolts that I could make work, but I don't want snappage of any sort.mgbv8 wrote:No problem with asking a question like that Ollie, especially when its such a critical set of bolts eh!

BTW Perry I ain't forgot about the thing in July, if only I had a few more hundred quid a month spare I wouldn't be far off finishing lol (always the way eh?!). Slowly but surely working my way through a very large snag/bits list . . . then I start on the rewiring!
Good news is I've found a place to sort my radiator (long story) and got a cheaper, better solution for alternator replacement! Woo!
