Take care of that back, you only get one. Glad you know about Kodine, many many people do not, that is why it is so difficult to get these days. Shame really as used sensibly is is a very good pain killer, and is good for avoiding the worst effects of shock, and it is a muscle relaxent (which will help that back) all in all.....

I'm sorry but I'm just not like that, and I certainly don't agree with doing things like that. I like to think that I'm an honest bloke. It's attitudes like that as to why we now have such a prevalent suing culture in this country, unfortunately. Several of my friends have said the same sort of thing, but I disagree.
I already have an active claim for an accident in January, and I'm doing that by the book; I suffered whiplash which was painful for a while, I got refered to orthopedics but didn't require physio. I wouldn't want someone to lie just to get money out of me, so I won't do it to them.
I probably will be going back to the doctors though, as the painkillers I'm taking are starting to have lesser effect and I've had constant back pain since the accident. Bah.
Personally speaking, I'd give my mortgage not to have been in either accident.

Though I can't stand this suing culture either (why do you think our insurances (of EVERY kind) keep going up and up) you may be silly not to claim if you are advised to by your doctor- if your back completely buggers you up in the future you may look back and regret not doing so- especially if it really was/is the norm!
I hire out cherry pickers etc- imagine what I have to worry about day to day with people standing in a basket 60ft up! These suing ba5tards are killing the genuine mans faith and confidence, and we are all paying for it.

Well mate you've just gained my respect! If everyone thought this way our insurance bills wouldn't be so high.chodjinn wrote:I'm sorry but I'm just not like that, and I certainly don't agree with doing things like that. Well I had to go back to the docs this morning. The painkillers I'm on (solpadol) are ok but they are definitely having lesser of an effect now I've been on them for a week, and I've been taking them with Ibruprofen as well. Doc prescribed me Naproxin (sp?) now as well, some muscle relaxant or something, so we'll have to wait and see. Gonna keep taking things easy, which includes cancelling my first golf tournament this yr with work
and means I wont get out on either of my mountain bikes for a while - and I've jsut spent a fortune on them which could have gone on the MG! Gutted. I don't think I'll be back on a snowboard any time soon either!
