Gidday guys just looking for some advice from you experienced vehicle modification experts out there. In the process of a manual conversion on my rv8 mazda ute(should have gone manual in first place) however because of the width of the motor in engine bay the L/H rocker cover is in the way of were the factory master cylinder mounts. Are there any in cab master cylinder options available? Or how would you overcome this technical difficulty? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
18lbs flywheel on way hopefully get gearbox and mock up engine to engineer start of next week to adapt rover(auto) to toyota bellhousing (using toyota w50 gearbox).

Fabricate a bracket that bolts to those studs which has a bell crank pivoted on it that allows you to use an upright master cylinder like, as an example, an early mini, or Rover 3500S P6 one. Having the bell crank offset through the bracket would have the added benefit of shifting the m/cyl even further away from the engine, towards the brake m/cyl.
Just make sure whatever master cylinder you choose, is mounted in its correct orientation, so as not to create any air locks making it vey difficult to bleed.
I had a similar problem with my cortina, the end result was I milled one side off the master cylinder, as long as there is 3mm+ of cylinder wall thickness you should be OK, obviously I left enough material at the flange end so the flange intact
