Crank Position Sensor onto Serpentine Front End... HELP !

Post by Slatter »

Im currently rebuilding the engine and im hoping to put Md3 system onto it or something along those lines, What im thinking though is if i put a crank position sensor on and coil packs i can get rid of the mechanism in the dizzy and have it all working off ecu.

Problem is has anyone done this before ?? And what Pulleys and CPS would / have you used ???

Its on a 4.8 worked engine with serpentine front cover if thats of any significance.

Any help / advice would be gratefull

James

simple to do just bolt on a trigger wheel and a VR sensor all of which you can get here http://www.trigger-wheels.com/ . I take it its an intermediate serp front cover you have? If so you can take the dizzy out all together and put a blanking plug in instead.
