Engine ID

Hey all,

Can anyone tell me what the following is out of and bhp/torque?

CR8.13.1
34126623

i looked on this sites engine ID but i couldnt make too much sense from it, probably me being thick

Hi and welcome to the forum,

CR 8.13 .1 is more like the compression ratio,
and an engine that low will be a landy or range rover engine,
there should be a couple of numbers then a letter before this number 34126623
presuming it's a rover v8

yeah tony sorry should have said lol, its a rover v8

i guessed 3.12.1 was the compression, no wonder i couldnt find out what it was from then, but thats all the chap off ebay decided to tell me!

you should have something like this mate:

ask him for the rest of the number and tell him there are a few digits missing

why have you gone for such a low comp engine???
