I have just installed a Bigas system on a 99` Range Rover `Thor` type. However i cannot communcate with the gas ecu (via laptop/vista/express card/data cable supplied(this combination of laptop/express card have been used in past to communicate with things),the gauges/switch lights up(which would indicate system is powered up),but everytime I run the software it comes up with `communication` error,Tinley tech told me which version of software to download/run,but still no joy.
Anyone experienced similiar,know the solution?

Hi,
I have a BIGAS system on my RR classic, I had similar trouble initially (going back @ 4 years) and it turned out Tinleytech had sent the wrong software, a different BIGAS system, however we got there in the end,
I wanted the ability to check the system and tune as I updated the engine, so I bought software & dongle and lead.
I run my system on an old laptop on windows '98, can your system run on the operating system you have, just as a thought
Always found Tinleytech helpful, I'm sure they'll be keen to assist
