If I were to start again, I would go straight for the Mclaren mk8f, body from TW moldings (original moulds) own chassis (drawings sat upstairs). I decided the "sensable" route was a part done project Mclaren mk 1c trouble was the thing had been cut about by somone who did not understand about acherman effect and suspension instant roll centers, been alot of work rebuilding the chassis to what it originally was!
Definatly go chevy again, and audi box (even if i do end up blowing the gearbox up). Learnt lots and had much fun, but I would listen more to my first instincts and trust my own design, then if its wrong it is still better than working with someone elses mistakes.
