I allways pull all plugs, that way you get a good rate of cranking, once you have done the comp test again, and check you readings, if the readings are still a bit suspect, squirt a small amont of engine oil down the bores via the plug holes if there is no difference on the second trial with oil down the bores, you probably have a valve seating problem, if, however, the comp ratio goes p significantly, with oil in the bore, means the rings are on theit way out.

If the comps all come up the sameish, that will point to the rings, it may be wear, or broken rins, it could even be the two compression rings have rotated untill the gaps have aligned themselves destroying the labrynth[sp] sealing effect when the gaps are opposing each other.
It wont cause you major probs, you will be a bit down on power and the engine may breathe a bit heavy, and ultimatly you will need to hone or rebore the engine to elliminate the wear, but the ole rover is basically a strong engine and will run forever until it needs major work.
