found that last night as well! Would love to see a transmission that could cope with that torque! Jesus, imagine bolting on two turbos hehe

To deal with the torque a 2:1 or 2.5 to one transfer box immediatly after the flywheel (to gear it up and spin the gearbox faster than engine speed) then into a torque converter and into a power glide should do it. Or go transfer box, clutch into a TKO 600. Either should work.

Hi Chodjinn
With the transfer box approach it would let you drop the crank below the rest of the drive centre line, with a shallow dry sump pan you could get the whole lot pretty low in the car :D , I'm not saying it would be easy to put it in an MGB . . .   . I think you would need to make a set of headers that spilt into two after the collector so you could fit 4 turbo chargers as sizing them might be tricky otherwise but it would look cool with four turbos just sticking through holes cut in the front wings   :chase.

Yup the urge is still there but it won't be satisfied a good few years now!

Hey Kev!

Err no, I do have a mondeo though. . . . .

I've left cars alone now and taken up my old hobbie of mountain biking plus some dirt jumping and just recently road riding. I won't being satisfying the car bug for a quite a while now as I'm saving to go to uni in a year or two now.
