dizzy wiring????

I,ve gone through the forum to try and solve this wiring problem, cant find an answer and hope someone out there can.
I have a 29 model A with rover v8 and i want to swap the Opus dizzy for a dm8.I have a new 12v coil and a intermotor amp and need a wiring diagram. there are 2 black wires coming out of the dizzy into a plug the they come out of the plug 1blue and 1 red. Can anyone tell me the wiring from the coil, amp and dizzy, I have a clean 12v supply from ignition switch and i need a pickup for the tacho.

Tony - check out RPi website. Maybe send Ian there an email asking him for some help. These guys are truly helpful.

One key thing is that the tachograph - it should be possible to pick up the tacho from the -ve side of the coil.

Give them a whizz and see where that goes.
