Has anyone had experience in fitting Westwood flanged liners for the Rover V8 engines? http://www.westwoodtrading.co.uk/catalo ... ed%20Liner
Are there other suppliers that anyone would recommend?

I think the bottom of the two examples in your link are the liners used by many to bore out to a rover to 96mm. The 3.5 t-hats are used much less because the 3.5's suffer much fewer liner faliures. I think getting the interference fit correct is probably more critical than the choice of liner itself because i would be suprised if there are many inferior products around these days, certainly the westwood ones are good. I am told there are around six firms in the uk who regularly fit t-hats to rover blocks and if you email these guys they may be able to offer some precise advice. Des hamils book contains some info regarding interference fit of liners and it is apparent that opinion differs somewhat between the factory and aftermarket installers as to the actual amount of interference and installation techniques. Also bear in mind that many of the RV8 parts/engine retailers dont do liner installs themselves (even if they happen to sell the liners themselves), they use dedicated engineering firms to do the work. Three companies that I believe do do the work themselves are B+H autokraft, Turner engineering and Wildcat engineering. Perhaps One of them may be able to offer you some advice.
