striaght thermostat housing

Post by Seight-V8 »

hiya all,

as i wont soon be running a dizzy, i've been looking for a straight thermostat housing to aid the water on way to the rad.

anyone know if one of these below would fit the rover v8....or anyone know of one like it that will fit.

Only other option is to mod the one i have and weld it back on straight...but the alloy on these is rubbish to weld.

cheers

Scott,

I got my straight thermostat housing with the by-pass from the water pump from Dave Vale at V8 Conversions Farnborough Kent.

Tel. 01689 858716

There's a pic in the thread water leak just below.

Kevin.

I know one of the Ford V8 ones will fit (my engine came with one) and I always thought it was from a Cleveland. Having looked at your link I wouldn't be surprised if that was the very one one.
