Thrust bearings.

Post by TVRTASMIN »

Does anybody know the difference between the following two thrust bearings.
Both manufactured by RHP.

34/W 1 1/2
35/W 1 1/2

The former came with a QH clutch kit QKT207AF for the SD1 V8 up to 1985.

This may or may not answer your question....
When I was building up my MGB V8 I had a hell of a time getting the right release bearing. Turned out I had one that was too short in length. Otherwise they were identical.

Other than these two styles I think there is just a third which is the self centering type in 2WD format.
Don't quote me, though.
:?

The only difference between these two bearings is the length of the plastic body.
