Different T56's
The A/F T56 is 33.29 inches. The LT1 T56 is 31.30 inches. The LS1 T56 is 31.90 inches from http://www.darklair.com/T56.html
and T5
The 2000 James Duff catalog lists three different lengths: 26.75", 28.50", and 29.375" (referring to the overall length of the transmission) from http://www.mercuranger.com/t5tremec.htm
Enjoy,
Ian

Basically T56 is huge, T5 is tiny and my TKO is in the middle.
If you're looking for a T56 I know of a 4,000 mile one but it's attached to a 4,000 mile dressed LS1. If you're interested at a £1 per mile for the lot I'll check if the guy has still got it.
Cheers,
Ian
