installing Spirolox for piston pin..? help?

Hi..

Need for help..
I have got new Ross pistons + new Spirolox lock ring for piston pin. (4x per piston) Has anyone got experience how to he...ll can i fit them?
I have got 1 training piece.. But it seems so difficult to find out new mounting way..

So experience, tools?

My local machine shop says that this is a first time when they see those spirolox..

At a guess something like a piston ring compressor for a small engine? maybe those small petrol pipe clips? they come in 1mm increments

I always thought you wound them in, as they are 'springy'

a bit like putting keys on a keyfob??

And I thought sprung wire locks were a pain in the bum to install (you only have to play catch as you fire them past your ear

Just open them up a little until they look like a spring.

They will go in fairly easy at that. Not always so easy to get back out again !!!!!! ( in fact, almost f'ing impossible sometimes )

It is easy peasy when i slightly open them..

I first think that opening them is not suitable..
