EFI wiring

Hi Guys,just transplanted a 1988 ford thunderbird efi motor into our 1968 mustang coupe,its a bare shell at the mo but got engine in and after a couple of weeks sorting the wiring loom(from the tbird)got it running(was well chuffed never done anything like this b4)i just need to sort a couple of wires;

1/ I have a wire that comes from the ecu to the Auto box inhibitor switch how do i wire this in??

2/ Can i just disconnect the egr valve as we are getting rid of the smog gear on it ???
