head question from a novice

at the risk of sounding a bit thick especially as the v8 kid has a sticky about this, i just want to be clear, are the su fed sd1 heads the same as the su fed range rover heads?? i have a sd1 v8 in my car but have a spare set of heads on a r rover engine and wanted to try my hand at port matching so that my car will be off the road for the shortest amount of time.

They are interchangeable. It's putting EFi on carb heads that isn't ideal.

However, the valves are seated more deeply in some heads than others, thus increasing the volume in the head. I've no idea what / when these were fitted though.
