power increase?

Post by redrange »

hi all, i have recently fitted a K+N induction kit and de-catted my 4.6 r/rover. it also has no rear box so just the centre one now, any ideas of what the power increase from this will be?

range rover V8 4.6 lpg K+N de-cat & on Koni's.
Supra 3.0i turbo HKSvpc, HKSfcd, GREDDYebc, 1bar boost. wahey!!
Omega 2.5 V6.
rover cabriolet.

It is better to say nothing and have people think your a fool than open your mouth and remove all doubt!

To be honest it probably hasn't made much difference in all out power. I estimate maybe about 10bhp at the most.

What it probably has done is make the engine rev a little better and so has improved driveability.

Don't forget as well that with your engine you will loose about 10% of your power when running on LPG.
