Hi Guys, probably an easy one but i'm not having much luck on here or google, if i do away with the afm and run it off O2 and manifold presure, wheres the best place to put the inlet air tempreture sensor, i'm thinking of placing the air filter directly on to the plenum throttle "end" !!

That is as good a place as any provided it doesn't get heat soak. Where the 9th injector went is also a good place (unless you are using that for MAP take off

Hi Bill, i'ts a hotwire one, i don't think this had a nineth injector? so somewhere by the throttle would do fine? john

This is where I put mine.

It's off a Vauxhall Corsa and I cut the fitting out of the inlet trunk. I turned a SS tube down to fit the rubber fitting, then drilled and tapped three hole to take small SS grub screws. Welded that piece into the outlet for the Air Filter. Worked a treat.

Damn good idea, but i was hoping to put the filter directly on to the plenum, then the IAT would have to be a little bit back from there, the plenum should drill and tap ok tho?
