I was going to put a 968 motor in it but wimped out. They cost too much to put right plus the one I had lined up needed the variocam gubbins refurbing which would add upto another £1000 to the cost so didn't bother.
I am a total porker convert now though. I've never driven a car which handles so addictively as this does and that includes all the the complete VXR range of cars at work.
In light of the lack of go though I have been coming up with a plan. Despite the 10.6:1 c/r my engine has it can still take a bit of boost so I have an SN93 paxton charger on the way which will compliment the 944 turbo intercooler I already have too. . . . .
I have a spare motor which I'm emptying out and have on a stand which is next to the mill which is also next to the lathe at home so a blower it will be getting!!!!
A v8 it isn't but I love it to bits, its everything I wanted my capri to be but never could be.
