Summit sell a huge variety of alloy radiators at quite reasonable prices. They come ready made for most US model muscle cars. Claimed to drop temps by 20% and they're 40% lighter compared to brass-copper.
Anyone know which one will fit an SD1 or TR8 with the inlet and outlets in the right place?

They might be 40% lighter, but I don't see how they can drop the temperature by 20% if your thermostat is working properly!Robrover wrote:Claimed to drop temps by 20% and they're 40% lighter compared to brass-copper.

Sorry Chris - that should have read 20 degrees according to the catalogue. They also say these radiators on average provide a 15% increased cooling capacity over the factory OEM versions.
I think I read somewhere a while ago now that one model of Camaro radiator will drop right into an SD1 - a guy used one in a 5 litre SD1 he built up using a P76 engine as the basis.
The latest 400 page Summit printed catalogue has 3 pages of alloy rads from various suppliers with prices starting at a low US$169.
