removing injectors & fuel rail

Post by chodjinn »

I've taken all the clips off between the injectors and fuel rail, and undone all the mountings for the fuel rail, but it wont budge. Can't seem to find any info regarding actually removing injectors, only fitting them . . . can anyone help?!

I take I'll need new seals as well??

Try twisting the little rubber hoses a bit to break the seal against the rail.

One by one until all 8 are free, then it should slide off..........

yeah I yanked a bit harder and it all came loose. SHame the trumpet base gets in the way so it'll have to come off before I can change the injectors, which means I have to fiddle the trumpets to fit an allen key in, then re-seal with sealant . . . all this for just changing the injectors lol!!

cheers
