Hi Kev,
Awesome engine these but unless those vanos units parked in the correct postion then it WILL get noisey and nasty when put back together,seen and heard it happen at work by a ex work colleague

Mmmm that could be a bag of worms, Anything missing??? you will never know untill its time to put it back together,
Another thing about the Vanos thing, A well known motor racing car builders i know of were commisioned to build a Touring car M3, no problem they thought and binned the vanos, Thet had a very well known cam company comissioned to make a new cam/s the only thing was they could not improve or even duplicate the HP/torque the engine developed with the Vanos and after spending a serious amount of this fellas money they reinstalled the Vanos

and with the other mods they had done made very little more power,-----OOPs
