Kind of exciting for the brief moments before he killed the ignition!
Anyway the way he got around this by lapping the flywheel onto the crank using firstly fine valve lapping compound and finishing with Brasso, he needed to start with a good match on the tapers but after that he did away with the woodruff key all together and relied on the fit of the parts and a long spanner on the flywheel nut. might work on the rover ballancer![]()

I pinned mine, and it is almost required for blower usage. Very easy to do with the right tools. I used a 1/4 drill bit, 2 holes 180deg apart.
