Hi new to this forum, well forums in general!
I have joined because already I have had some really useful information from you guys and the site in general
I own a 1972 Vauxhall viva with a yes you guessed it a rover v8 3.5 and five speed gear box it's a great car I can not take credit for the build, but will take credit for the huge snag list it came with!
Any how just wanted to say hello 👍

That's lovely! It looks as if that engine was meant to be there.

Hi thanks yes it's a good fit and looks great in there again not my work but a credit to the guy that did it ,
I do have a question if anyone on here can help please
I have to strip the engine down over winter due to ongoing issues, but in the meantime I have bought another engine that I'm keen to rebuild, and maybe use as a replacement,
My original engine is from a Rover sd1
My newly purchased engine is harder to find out what it actually is the engine code is EXP 250
All I can find out is that it could be an experimental engine hence the EXP and I believe the 250 is just a rolling over number system used at factory, I believe it's an experimental engine and could be a blueprinted prototype used on a test bed or in a press release car or special vehicle, can anyone add any more information please it would be greatly appreciated to know more before I strip it down, many thanks in advance Bob

You should probably start a new thread for that question :)
